Graham Caldersmith achieved a masters in Aerophysics before studying acoustics at ANU which provided him with a scholarship for further study in Stockholm. Graham then received a Churchill Fellowship to the US and later, an Australia Council grant to extend into Luthiery. Using his comprehensive background in acoustics and woodwork, has become known as one of the pioneers, and leading exponents of the Australian lattice-style guitars.
